Keep It Short and Sweet evolved from my love of creating beautiful handmade sweets. I have always endeavoured to use the highest quality ingredients available to ensure stunning presentation to the eye and palate.
There is not a time in my life that I can’t remember enjoying the opportunity to try something new – especially when I think of sweet treats! I was very lucky to grow up with only the very best of grandmas that spoilt my sisters and I with all manner of new and exciting flavours of cookies, slices, cakes and brownies and a mother that was always more than happy to help us create masterpieces (occasional disasters too!) in her kitchen.
When presented with the opportunity to spend time in Melbourne learning both new and innovative as well as traditional methods of sweet production I could not say no! It was there that I discovered my love of chocolate, how therapeutic its processes can be and the joy that it can bring to so many people. I truly found a hobby that satisfied my creativity as well as my desire to share.
It was only a matter of time before my friends and family could no longer consume the products that I wanted to create and so Keep It Short and Sweet gave me an outlet that enabled me to share my passion with other like-minded sweet lovers. It has grown so much since its conception in 2013 and now allows me to concentrate on creating beautiful handmade sweets using the highest quality ingredients available to ensure stunning presentation to the eye and palate.
